Aunt Shirley,
I will really miss you. I know I had wanted to come see you because you said you really liked to cook for people and we could catch up and see the kids. Maybe one day we will still be able to do that.

I met Shirl in the late 70’s during “Task Force” travels for CNA Insurance. She became one of my life long friends working and living in the same cities until the late 90’s. Shirl was truly one of the greatest people I’ve known and I am blessed to have had her as my friend. I know she will be sorely missed by many.

Raymond Osman says
I have so many fond memories of Shirley at family reunions and holiday celebrations especially during our childhood. I am so glad that I got to visit with Shirl not too long ago and again feel the family bond that we shared. Shirley had a loving heart that made her mother, family and friends very happy.
Marty Barnes says
Along with Linda, Kathy and Ken, I will miss my big sister. As God intended, Shirley spent her life giving the best of herself to others, paying special attention to the needs of mom and the rest of us. She was a perfectionist about some things – especially family events – always making sure that everyone had exactly the food and wine at dinner that they wanted. I suspect that just this one time Brian and Mom, and others that have already made the journey, had set the table in preparation for her arrival – and are insisting that she goof off. I doubt she listened.
